Pool Rules

  • Each member of your family MUST leave their identification cards with the staff member at the entry window. NO ONE will be allowed to enter the FGSC without their cards. On your way out of the FGSC, you MUST obtain your cards from the front gate.
  • All children 3 years and younger must wear rubber swim diapers in the main pool and baby pool. Lifeguards will be strictly enforcing this policy. No exceptions.
  • The baby pool is strictly for children 6 years and under.
  • Lap lanes are for lap swimmers ONLY during scheduled timeframe as follows: M-Th: 5:30pm-7:30pm / weekends 11:00 am-1:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm.
  • Guest passes are for members use only. Guests must accompany members to the pool. Guests should never be possession of the guest pass. Passes presented by a non-member will be confiscated. 2nd offense will be revocation of all outstanding guest passes held by the member and suspension of the member's right to purchase guest passes for 1 swim season. 3rd offense will result in the Board of Directors review for possible suspension of member privileges to FGSC.
  • Only official life saving swimming devices will be allowed in the main pool for children that cannot swim. Management must approve these devices.
  • Bottles, crockery, glassware, or other hazardous objects shall not be permitted within the pool fence area, pool room, bathhouse facilities, or in the swimming pool or on the deck area.
  • No children should be in the pool without adult supervision.
  • No diving is permitted off the deck into the shallow areas of the pool.
  • No running or boisterous or rough play, except supervised water sports, is permitted in the pool, in the dressing rooms or shower rooms, on runways, on the diving boards or platforms.
  • All persons having or reasonably suspected to have any considerable area of exposed sub-epidermal tissue, cuts or known or recognizable contagious or communicable diseases, cough, cold, open sores, blisters, bandaged wound, fever, inflammation of the eyes, nasal or ear discharges, shall not be allowed to enter the pool water.
  • Spitting, urinating, blowing of the nose, spouting of water or deposit foreign matter in the pool shall be strictly prohibited.
  • No person shall bring or throw into the pool, or its floors, walkways, aisles or dressing rooms, any object that may in any way carry contamination or endanger the safety of any bather.
  • Any person suspected of being under the influence of drugs shall be prohibited from entering the pool.
  • All animals with the exception of guide dogs for the handicap shall be prohibited within the pool fence, pool room and bathhouse facilities.
  • Use of pool is strictly prohibited during an electrical storm.
