Registration Form
The
first member registration will be held after the General Members
Meeting (April 21st, Bel Air Library) and again at the
pool on Saturday, May 3. Members and non-members can sign up at the pool
on Saturday, May 10th only from 10 am- 12 pm. Non-members can only sign
up on May 10th. Swim suit sales for those that need them (same
suit as 2007) will be offered on May 10th only (Cy’s will be on
hand to size the swimmers). Pool registration runs from 10:00 am-12:00pm
on both Saturdays. Forms will be available at each of the sign-up dates.
COST*:
For members: $80 for one swimmer, $130 for two, $170 family maximum.
For non-members: $100 per swimmer, ($90 for each additional
swimmer). There will be NO mail-in registrations accepted. Age
Groups will be limited, so sign up early. Note: The cost includes
Registration, HSL Head Tax, HSL Dual Meet fees, Championship Meet Fees,
Valley Brook invitation (for 12-under swimmers only), social events and
year-end party. This fee is NON–REFUNDABLE (except the one
exception noted below)!
In addition to the
registration fee, each family will be required to bring food to two of the
four home meets. Food selection can be found on the sign up sheets. You
can opt out of the food option for an additional $20/family, payable with
your registration. All families must also provide drink donations.
Further details will be provided. These donations help us raise money and
will cost you LESS than if we were to charge you all cash. We need your
help. All families MUST sign up for a minimum of
four meets to volunteer (home or away). We
cannot run the meets without help!
Beginning swimmers must be able to swim
one length of the pool. If any child is not able to show this ability
within the first few days of practice, we will ask that they wait till
next year to join. Practice is NOT to be in lieu of swim lessons. Any
swimmer that is asked to wait a year will have their registration fee
returned. No swimmers under 5 years of age please.
Practice days and times
will be posted on the Fountain Green Swim Club Website. A “practice” meet
is being planned for May31st (8-10am). See

practice/parent meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 27th and
practices will be held at night until public school is completed.
Practices for age groups will be held in the morning and evening on
weekdays (except for Wednesday and Friday evenings).
We also encourage all
swimmers to attend as many practices and all the meets, including the HSL
Championship (July 19-20). They only can get better through experience and
that comes from the meets! All swimmers are eligible for HSLs, regardless
of times. Coaches will work with the kids to make sure they are able to
swim their best events.
